Night of the Fireflies
Cute little Susie Zook reminds Merry so much of her twin, Faithie, that spending time with Susie is almost like having a sister again! The two of them quickly become inseparable, and are often out catching fireflies at dusk in the peaceful Pennsylvania countryside. But their adventures comes to a horrifying halt in the wake of a life-threatening car accident.Suddenly, Merry feels as if she's losing a sister a second time, and it's too much to handle on her own. Can Merry help Susie in spite of the bleak outlook?Or must she witness the Amish approach to death firsthand?
