A Surfeit of Suitors

by Barbara Hazard

Married off to abide by her dying father’s wishes when she was still quite young, Georgie Spaulding lost her soldier husband to war. As a widow she has learned to enjoy the freedom she now has in society without a husband to control her. Suddenly she acquires two new suitors who demand her attention, the brash American David Linwood and the aristocratic Lord Holland. As she tries to decide whether she wants to remarry, circumstances ultimately show her which man is the one she loves.
