Beth

by Barbara Hazard

A group of travelers are stranded at an inn during a snow storm, including practical Beth and her clergyman father. As the group tries to stay entertained, different allegiances come and go, but Beth finds herself most drawn to the blunt and arrogant Duke of Barrington. Later, when everyone meets up again in London, the duke needs to persuade Beth that he has also fallen in love with her.
