The great Montana cowboy auction

by Anne McAllister

With a neighbor's ranch at stake, Montana-cowboy-turned-Hollywood-heartthrob Sloan Gallagher agreed to take part in the Great Montana Cowboy Auction organized by Polly McMaster. But in order to avoid going home with an overly enthusiastic fan, he provided the money so that single mom Polly could take him home for a weekend of playing house. Polly figured that a weekend was all this Tinseltown cowboy could handle of her reality -- which included one bionic cat, one starstruck sister, thirteen unemployed rabbits and, of course, the kids. Polly was sure it was the novelty that appealed to him. But when the hoopla surrounding the auction ended and Sloan stuck around, she prayed the novelty would wear off quickly -- before she got in too deep!
