The Weeping and the Laughter
Set in Europe in the years following the Russian Revolution, the novel focuses on Nikki Korolev, a member of the Russian aristocracy who fled Russia in 1919. Nikki discovers that his twin brother, Rudi, believed to have been killed by Bolsheviks, is alive, but the outbreak of W.W. II keeps Nikki from finding his brother.
