Nate Winslow owed her family a favor Yet only dire financial straits forced Courtney to contact the elderly family friend. Gratefully she accepted his generous offer to live at Hearthstone, his sumptuous Green Bay home, while she put herself through college. There, to her dismay, she discovered his son, lawyer Jeff Winslow, had labeled her an undesirable and accused her of trying to work herself into his father's good graces.
