Followers of Jesus
The pages of this book are a record of four talks given by Jean Vanier to major superiors of religious orders in Toronto. They deal with such fundamental ideas as discipleship, service, discernment of the Spirit, poverty, and prayer. Vanier, the son of the former Governor General of Canada, and the founder of L'Arche, a community for the care of mentally handicapped adults, is one of the most illuminating religious teachers of our day.
