Merlin's Mirror cover

Merlin's Mirror

by Andre Norton

A different telling of the old legends/myths of Merlin and King Arthur with the mysterious Sky Folk and The Dark Ones, both star fairing races that strive to have mastery over the Earth and its people through advanced technology and esper powers. Sir Lancelot is omitted from this tale and there are other differences with names, places and characters. Were this book written as a fresh tale with no connection to the old legends and with new character names, it would have been a very good read, but as it is, much flavor and enjoyment is lacking from the usually high quality of Ms. Norton's works.
