This book proposes an amusing game of counting and tales. Between counting and telling, we count numbers and count on a story. Will it then be a story counted on and told? And besides, if we count the syllables to make verses from, that's three times counted on, and if we count on what the illustrations tell us it's¿ the never ending tale, or better said, the never ending tale to be counted on.
