The landlord takes a bride

by Kristin Billerbeck

Stefani Willems is about to reach her ambitious goal of buying the land that her family's orchard once occupied just outside Silicon Valley. But a handsome cowboy from Colorado saunters in and buys the brand-new duplex which now occupies the property. Outraged that a lowly working man has disrupted her plans and desperate to dissuade him, Stefani begs the cowboy to reconsider. "The Cowboy" is John Savitch, a leading EPA scientist who has transferred to the Bay Area. But when John begins the process of shutting down Atlas Semiconductors, he realizes that Stefani is going to hold two grudges against him: for taking away her duplex...and her job. Can these new neighbors ever get over the rocky beginnings of their relationship?
