Diana Marsh attempts to reform her habits while dating a conservative partner approved by her family. Her remaining vice is Marc Davenport, a coworker she has been flirting with online, and she confronts this temptation during a trip to Las Vegas before settling into a life. When Marc receives a job in France, their affair becomes a farewell, during which they explore fantasies, but a separation forces Marc to confront the nature of Diana.
