Obsession of Victoria Gracen

by Grace Livingston Hill

Young Richard Gracen, just coming from his mother's funeral, had nowhere to turn. Thrust upon his uncle and family, life looked dreadful indeed. His future as planned by the uncle, included work at the slaughterhouse and board with the uncle's family, who took every opportunity to remind Richard of the debt he owed them. Returning one last time to the only home he'd ever known, Richard received a telegram from the sister of his long-dead father. The telegram kindly asked Richard to visit and made provision for travel and any other necessities he may have. With no other options, Richard decided to accept the invitation, putting into motion things that would impact his life and the lives of several others for now and for eternity. Principles in this story are still applicable today. Lives are still being changed every day with the application of love, care and the Good News!
