This book starts with some background information about the men involved in the Corp Of Discovery, then the preparation for the trip out west. You travel with the men up the Missouri in 1803, winter at Wood's River, to the unknown country and across the Rockies and then the return trip. Nicely sketched pages throughout and sketched map and a brief itinerary at the end of the book.
