Malone quotes the old saw that when you eliminate the impossible, what ever remains however improbable must be the truth! But goes on to say it doesn't have to mean anything, it just sounds good ! But telepathic spies is what he gets and he has to hunt them down, although he isn't telepathic himself. Enter an old lady with Apple red cheeks and twinkling eyes who happens to be Elizabeth Tudor (Queen Elizabeth 1) and of course she's a psychic as well as an immortal. The story has a number of engaging highly improbable characters a wonderful plot line and enough humorous situations to keep you entertained. It is a fun read as well as the first in the series.
