Abduction

by Charlotte Lamb

Surely the most terrifying thing that could happen to any woman must be for her child to be snatched – and indeed it was without doubt the worst thing that had happened to Marisa; that moment when she came out of a shop to find baby Jamie vanished would always feel like the end of everything. For most women in that dreadful situation, though, it would at least be some comfort to be sustained by their husband’s love – but for Marisa it only meant that t had brought her estranged husband Gabriel back on the scene; the last thing she had wanted to happen. For nothing had changed in the two years since she had last seen him; the same gap still yawned between them. And meanwhile – where was Jamie?
