Incredulity of Father Brown
The Incredulity of Father Brown is the third collection of G. K. Chesterton's detective stories featuring Father Brown, a mild, observant Catholic priest who solves crimes through insight into human nature rather than forensic method. First published in 1926, it gathers stories in which apparently supernatural events turn out to have ordinary explanations - Father Brown's skepticism about easy miracles gives the book its title.
