Harry Corvo has a new line of work: Private Investigator. He's got the basics; an office under the El, a sexy receptionist, a grumpy investigator, and a Psychic friend.The drawbacks are (a) he shares the office with a dentist and the noise of the drills makes him crazy, (b) the receptionist is three decades past her expiration date and has the hots for anything in pants, (c) the investigator thinks he's a clown, and (d) the Psychic is fifteen years old.Oh, and he doesn't have a gun permit, so he carries a fishing knife and a cross bow. And he also doesn't have any clients. Not your typical 1960's Gumshoe. But, all that changes when a shady mysterious character wants him to find someone: The Fortune Teller. What seems to be a simple Missing Persons case quickly becomes deeper and Harry must question his latest career move.With the help of a young NYC cop, a seasoned Private Eye and an opinionated wise-cracking bartender, Harry navigates between The Mob and the DA's Office to save a man he's never met.
