Atlanta Down Under, The Building of Atlanta's Subway System is a self-published photographic book on the construction of Atlanta, Georgia's first subway system, starting in 1977. The book is printed on glossy paper. There are forty-five photographic images of construction sites and personnel, tunnels, aerial lines, buildings, neighborhoods, stations, and an introduction by Doug Most.Doug Most is the author of The Race Underground, Boston, New York and printed by St. Martin's Griffin. His book was also made into a PBS/American Experience movie titled "The Race Underground."
