Four suspense-romance thrillers from a talented pen. In each, the feisty heroine faces extraordinary danger but is able to overcome all fearful situations by virtue of her discretion, courage and initiative. Three are set in the lovely countryside of Southern France, while one is set in Northumberland, and has a storyline similar to Josephine Tey's "Brat Ferrar." All are set in the present day.
