Emotional Rescue

by Ben Greenman

Human beings, with proper training and following an appropriate methodology, can acquire the ability to become intervenors and make a difference in the life of anyone going through a crisis of stress, anxiety, addiction, or chaotic family conflicts that can harm their quality of life or, why not, lead them to suicide. Just as one doesn't need to be a doctor to perform CPR, it is not a requirement to have a higher academic level to be an intervenor and be able to apply psychological first aid (PFA) to a person in a crisis state that may lead them to make irrational decisions at a given moment. I tell you this, Patricia B Murphy, who due to ignorance or lack of knowledge went through deep family emotional crises until I discovered the wonderful tools that I describe in this book. It is crucial to know that these practical tools, especially Nonviolent Communication, can help us not only to shape or develop our personal and parenting skills on what to do and how to take care of our children and/or those in our charge when they experience emotional and existential crises, but, most importantly, they help us take care of ourselves to have the energy and capacity to take care of others. Love, respect for others' feelings, and understanding of their own personal growth process are fundamental, as they should be for our own self-care process. Keep in mind that if you feel better, you can take better care of your loved ones. While these tools do not replace the therapy that a mental health professional can provide for you and your loved ones, with knowledge of them, you can resolve any urgent situation that is stealing your peace and happiness in your life. I am confident that you can easily learn them at home with this book, which is a Bible of Emotional Rescue. If you want to delve deeper into them, you can also find many references to better understand these topics. I know you will identify with it, and it will be a great pleasure to guide you to a solution with this content that I crafted with much care.
