The Slavonic and East European Review, the journal of the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies, is published quarterly by the Modern Humanities Research Association (MHRA). Issues are numbered serially, the four annual issues constituting a volume. This is issue 1 of volume 102, a special issue titled Political Martyrdom in Late Imperial Russia.
