The Beginning And the End
A concise essay on the Origin and Resurrection written by Khajeh Nasir Tusi about 800 years ago (1201–1274). In it, he presents a mystical-philosophical interpretation of the fundamentals of Islamic thought. This treatise was written in 20 chapters at the request of one of his friends who wanted to know about the Hereafter. It essentially describes the conditions of humans in this world and the Hereafter, The beginning and the end, Heaven, Hell, Angels, Rewards, Punishments, Justice, time and place of the Day of Judgement. The book starts with this statement: "Praise All to the Creator, who is the beginning and the end of all things, yet He is everything". This concise statement at the start of the book about the unity of existence is incredibly eye-catching in addition to the overall material, which is designed for the taste of mystics. Allameh Hassanzadeh (1928-2021) made some commentaries. Muhammad Me’marian then explained it in depth during weekly lectures (2002-2004). Finally, it is translated from Persian to English by his students (2022-2023). This book has many manuscripts that are kept in the library of the British Museum, as well as in the libraries of Iran, Pakistan, and Egypt.
