Just to show both of them that they'd been dating all the wrong people. With such different backgrounds, Edward Strother and Teresa Webb could never last as a couple. But Edward and Teresa weren't playing by the rules. And they had plans of their own. Ben and Stephanie were too busy fighting to see that they were the ones who were perfect for each other. Maybe the situation called for a little parental management....
