Forty Yarns and a Song
"Esteemed Reader, a brief not about this book. a while back I wrote an autobiography called the Life and Times of a Good Keen Man. One memory evokes another and I ended up with a lot of material I couldn't fit in the book, things that have happened, things that have partly happened, and things that might have happened. The result of this is that some of these yarns are true, some are partly true, some aren't true at all, and some I'm not too sure about myself. I present them for your entertainment. I hope you enjoy them and if I've captured some of the atmosphereof the times and they raise a chuckle in you I'll be well pleased. Happy reading, Aroha. Crumpy." -- AUTHORS NOTE.
