Blade of the Immortal.
The immortal samurai Manji and his pal Magatsu are on the trail of Shira, an old enemy of Manji's. But, even as they hunt him, Shira has hired a band of hunters that he hopes will, since they can't kill him, cut Manji to pieces on a daily basis.
