Chicago executive Boston Macnamara, sent to Cuttersville, Ohio, to inspect a plant, is disturbed to learn the accommodations he has rented are part of a haunted house tour conducted by Shelby Tucker, a young divorcee who was worried about her apparent lack of passion until she got her first glimpse of Boston sleeping naked in room normally occupied by the ghost of the Old Colonel.
