The Little People
During National Poetry Month 2018 I started a program via Beautiful Blasphemy called Word to the Wise; where I collected poetry book from local writers and donated them to local libraries. We received a massive response: over 150 books!. To thank the writers I went back to BB’s original motivation of giving voice to those prevented from otherwise. I offered to make these mini-chap bifold poetry books to any who wanted. We published 12 different new books.Most of the year. I focus on my visual art through HEYMAN! Productions. Due to this I am, with exception to the winter months, usually in a state of a natural writing block/slump. My creative energies can only stretch so far.Or so I thought.Exposure to so many new perspectives inspired new stories in me. It made me newly receptive to the written/spoken word. What happened was organized chaos.It was mixed up, random, all over the place; pin-point focused on one aspect, then changes the channel at will.It was me.It was everyone at once.Here they are.Thanx to all of you.You make me.
