Sex and Sidiki 11 Surviving the Tribal Homeland of 9/11 Terrorists
Sex and Sidiki 11 takes place from 1988 to 1992 on the escarpment in Abha, Asir Province, the tribal homeland of some 9/11 terrorists and follows on from my years at the Jeddah Military hospital in book 1 of the Saudi trilogy. The escarpment is a high plateau, about 7-8 thousand feet with a perpetual springtime climate. Asir Province is the most southerly part of Saudi Arabia and is close to Yemen. Its on the fabled Myrrh and Frankincense route where spices and perfume oils came across the mountains into Asir, paid fees to the bandits of the two main tribes, the Assiris and the Qahtanis and went down the escarpment to the Red Sea and on to Mecca and Jeddah to sell their wares. I left Saudi forever in March 1986 to Trek or die in Nepal. I was 300 pounds and miserable. Three months later after Everest Base camp, the Annapurna circuit and boot camp at the YMCA back in Edmonton, I was 150 pounds lighter and went to South Africa for a facelift, eye job, tummy tuck and boob lift. Bad time for jobs in Canada so I went back to Saudi and ended up as the Director of Nursing in a new hospital in Abha, a city of about forty thousand mountain folk. I fell in love with my boss spent several years imbedded in the Saudi culture and boke my heart; there's no fool like an old fool.
