Zeke can't wait for canoe camp to end. His gung-ho cousin Doug and the counsellor's silly stories of wendigos - monsters that haunt the Maine woods - bore him stiff. Then he inadvertently loosens a strange rock off a mossy mound and the wendigos are soon tearing their way out with slimy claws.
