Calvin Jackson was blindsided when his wife walked out on him and their son Mickey, so when he quits his career as a police officer to take a security job that will allow him to spend more time with Mickey, he never expects to find love again; and certainly not in the form of brusque yet beautiful Paige Davis, school counselor.
