The end of the world as we know it

by Iva-Marie Palmer

You know that feeling when you have a killer hangover, and emerge from a party that you weren't even invited to in the first place to find the house destroyed and almost everyone you know it bits? Sarabeth Lewis does. Literally. Whilst she and the rest of the school's outcasts have been locked in the basement, the world appears to have ended - and now Sarabeth, Leo, Evan and Queen Bee Teena (who accidently locked herself in the basement too ...) have unwittingly become survivors of an alien invasion. Now they'll have to somehow put their differences aside, save their town, themselves and quite possibly the world - and use everything they've got (including some glittery face-paint) to squish some serious alien butt.
