Each unit comprises five parts: reading comprenhension, listening comprehension, guided writing, role-playing, discussion, and extensive language practice. Detailed introductions for both the teacher and the students explain how to make the best use of *Discovery*. A cassette containing dialogues for listening comprehension accompanies this book. Both American and British speakers have been used.
