Sacred Stones is the redemption story of a woman, a home, a factory, and a town. When Andrew Varga inherits his great-grandmother Lina’s home in Butler, Pennsylvania, his 10-year-old daughter Caroline begins to experience strange visions of the past. Each glimpse of her ancestors leads the Varga family closer to bringing the long-buried secrets of theft, deceit and betrayal into the light. Intertwining nuggets of true Butler history, the book highlights fascinating facts while unraveling the hidden mysteries of the fictional Varga family. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Cecilia Overby Tomko was raised in Northern Virginia, the daughter of Norwegian immigrants. She earned her degrees in English and Teaching at UVA and spent many years as a singer/songwriter in Savannah, Atlanta and Nashville, creating two independent albums. She authored a musical entitled Cecilia: the Saint of Music in 2014 and has worked primarily as a worship leader while homeschooling her four children. In 1999, Cecilia married Christopher Tomko, a designer and inventor, and they moved to his hometown of Butler, Pennsylvania in 2010. Sacred Stones is her first novel.
