Twist of fate
A prominent corporate attorney Val Covington uses a million-dollar windfall to open her own legal practice and fight for the causes she believes in. Joining her is her assistant Kendra, who believes her former lover is wrongly sentenced to death. Val takes on the case with help from her new landlord, talented by troubled investigator Rob Smith. As they race against the clock to save a man from execution, Val and Rob must also deal with their escalating mutual attraction.
