The Fisherman and the Bird

by Sonia Levitin

The story follows a solitary fisherman whose boat becomes home to a colony of rare birds. When neighbors urge him to protect the birds, he must decide whether to intervene or allow the birds to remain. The narrative explores the tension between human isolation and communal responsibility.
