Beyond the Boardwalk
Beyond the Boardwalk is without a doubt Rod McKuen's most eagerly anticipated book. Promised for more than eight years, its development is unique in the book world, even for an author whose constant evolution as a writer and artist is a phenomenon in itself. The most personally revealing and intimate of all McKuen's works, Beyond the Boardwalk continually evolved on paper as the poet's life changed over the past several years.
