A lawyer working for a Supreme Court judge makes the mistake of revealing to another lawyer a ruling about to be announced. The other is in fact an impostor and threatens to reveal the indiscretion unless he is paid money. The lawyer and his friends mount an operation to fix the blackmailer. A first novel.
