The Killer's Game
Joe's a professional assassin, a hitter who's made a career out of killing only those who deserve to be killed. Joe's profession isn't a problem for him. What he has a problem with is his stomach. It's been bothering him for a long time, and his girlfriend has finally convinced him to see a doctor. The doctor tells him it's no ulcer - Joe has cancer and has only a few more painful months to live. Now Joe has never planned on dying in bed and he'd rather not end it all in a hospital room with tubes coming out of every vein and orifice. So, he decides to take a quicker route out of this life and into the next - he puts out a contract ... on himself. The Killer's Game is on. Everybody comes to the party looking for the money and the honor of putting away one of the world's most accomplished assassins - everybody from the mob's twin Sicilian giants to a high-tech hitter from Japan. As Joe waits to see who'll collect the prize, he gets one more message from his doctor. It seems there's been a little mistake. Joe's not going to die. He has a long life ahead of him. Problem solved, right? Wrong. There's no way to call the hitters off.
