Land Remembered

by Patrick D. Smith

A wonderful story of rustic life in Florida in the late 1800's, from the time of the Seminole Indians to just before the Disney invasion. Open cattle land, hurricanes before the Travel Channel weather reports, Miami Beach when it was just...beach, no condos or hotels...just beach. The author did extensive research and even though it is a story of a family over generations, it has factual history as a foundation. The characters are colorful and real. The book is a "must read" in my family
