A stolen heart
Massachusetts shipping magnate Alexandra Ward comes to England in 1811 to conduct business with Lord Sebastian Thorpe, owner of a tea company, and is surprised when her appearance, which is apparently very like a young woman believed to have died during the French terror, sends shock waves through society, and raises enough questions for someone to try to kill her.
