by Wendy Martin

Popular radio talk-show host Lisa Crandall Graham is shocked by the ghoulish birthday message from an anonymous caller that comes only a few weeks after the sudden death of her husband. The call touches off a series of terrifying events in Lisa’s life and wreaks havoc at the San Francisco radio station. The recent arrival of Ross Avery, the autocratic hew station manager. does little to alleviate the suspicion and fear. As a psychologist who counsels others over the air, Lisa knows she must stay calm and not let the psychotic caller interrupt her life. Surprisingly, it’s the aloof Ross Avery himself who helps her realize how vulnerable she is, since she’s the main target of the caller’s rage. Touched by the warm feelings Ross awakens in her, Lisa finds herself drawn to him. But when she decides to turn away from the strength of Ross’s protection. Lisa finds herself alone in a desperate struggle to save her life and her heart…
