Section 1 addresses counting principles including combinations, permutations, distinguishable permutations, outcome and events probability and odds, probability with and without replacement, probability trees and tips regarding use of calculators for counting problems. Section 2 introduces data sets and statistics, descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, experiments, analysis of data, measures of central tendency, probability distributions, z-score, box-and-whisker plot, samples and data, bias and error, percentiles, quartiles, interquartile range, outliers. Section 3 describes the presentation of data: two-way frequency tables, stem-and-leaf plots, scatterplots, pictographs, line plots, pie chart and doughnut chart, frequency polygons, misleading statistics, faulty polling, flawed correlation, data fishing, selection and sampling bias, and errors in statistical analysis.
