Brewer's Twentieth-century Music

by David Pickering

Ranging from the many-stranded forms of modern classical music to the blues, jazz, rock 'n' roll, rap and film music "Brewer's Twentieth-Century Music" provides a mix of facts and anecdotes about the people and events that have shaped the contrasting sound of the contemporary world. David Pickering has also edited "Brewer's Twentieth-Century Phrase and Fable" (1991), "Encyclopaedia of Pantomime" (1993) and the "Cassell Soccer Companion" (1994).
