A Father's Tale
The wizard Philian sends Thomas O'Ryan and the scholar Tyftem to Chicago in 1934 to sell some valuable rocks. The scholar has plans of his own which means more adventure than Thomas ever imagined. One thing leads to another, the tale goes into a totally unexpected direction, and Thomas learns things about many of the special people in his life.
