Turtle Day

by Douglas Florian

The book follows a turtle as it spends time sunning on a log, taking a swim, and reacting to a snake that frightens it. Through these scenes, the turtle experiences simple outdoor activities and encounters a threat. The narrative presents these moments in a straightforward, observational style.
