Zothique
Zothique is a continent that serves as the setting for a collection of tales. The stories portray a world of spells, wonders, incongruities, curses, and countless terrors, where love and death appear illusory and hallucinations are less frightening than reality. In cities, villages, forests, and countryside, the living are continually pursued by the dead, mummies, and skeletons, and the narratives explore the destinies of the inhabitants of the last continent of Earth as it faces its decline.
