Rooted in Dishonour

by Anne Mather

Since she had met Willard Petrie, Beth Rivers had become much more than his nurse; indeed she had become so genuinely fond of him that when he asked her to marry him she agreed. Now she had travelled back with him to his island home in the Caribbean and the marriage was to take place as soon as Willard had returned to normal health. But then Beth met Willard's overseer, the disturbing Raoul Valerian - and 'genuinely fond' was hardly the way to describe how she soon found herself feeling about him! How could she fight her feelings and remain loyal to Willard?
