For the baby's sake

by Sherry Lewis

HIS CHILD NEEDS A FATHER -- AND A MOTHER When Mark Taylor learns he has a two-year-old son, he has only on thing on his mind: find the boy and bring him home. So he hires a private investigator and discovers that when little Jared was born, his mother gave him up -- to her cousin, Dionne Black. Mark goes to Boise, Idaho, to meet his child. But when he sees Dionne and Jared together, he realizes his plan to separate them will make both of them miserable. So he suggests the obvious compromise: marriage. FOR THE BABY's SAKE... Sounds simple. But almost from the start there are problems. Mark's close-knit family seems to overwhelm Dionne. Jared's birth mother is making demands and Dionne is homesick for Boise. And -- biggest problem of all -- Mark is falling in love with his wife.
