Miss Julia Takes Over
In the first book, Miss Julia, a recent widow, is presented with one Hazel Marie Puckett and her nine-year son, Little Lloyd, who bears a striking resemblance to Miss Julia's late husband. In the sequel, Miss Julia, Hazel Marie Puckett, and Little Lloyd have formed a familial bond which creates the plot for this book. It results in a hair-raising car chase on the track of NASCAR's North Carolina Speedway.
