The Family Liar

Teri Kanefield is a lawyer and the author of more than a dozen books. She has written fiction and nonfiction for both mainstream audiences and young readers. Her book awards include the Jane Addams Book Award and the Carter G. Woodson Middle Book Level Award. Her legal practice was limited to representing indigents on appeal. Her legal and political analysis has appeared in The Washington Post and other mainstream outlets.
